A sister line replacement variety for Mississippi Shipper. It has a concentration of pods that are reddish purple at green shell stage for shorter harvest period, is large seeded and shells very easily. A disease resistant variety.

Management: Scout field for insect, weed, and disease pressure.

Harvest: Harvest peas when ripe. In shelling peas, pods should be filled out and able to feel individual peas. Pea pods should be harvested before seed develops inside the pod.

Storage: After harvest store peas at 50 - 60ºF with 95% humidity to ensure quality.
