Transition in leadership

Dear Customer,
I am proud of what our company has accomplished over the last 64 years. We have built a successful company that has developed sound relationships with select national seed and genetics partners, while also carving out several unique and complementary niches for ourselves.

It is my desire for the company to continue its success through innovation in products and services, and to see it continue with another generation of family. To accomplish these goals, on July 1st, 2009 I took the next step in leadership transition to insure the future of our company.

My son, Philip is now President of the company with responsibility for day-to-day operations and execution of the plans that he and I will identify. I’ll remain as Chairman of the company and my responsibilities will include supporting Phil in his new role and continued direction of our breeding efforts with a focus towards development of new products in our market niches.

I’m excited about my opportunity to focus on growth of our products and confident that Phil will be successful in his new role.
